Hebden Bridge Artist Residency

Over two weeks in the Summer of 2011, Hebden Bridge was my home. I created a page-a-day publication in celebration of the town's 500th Birthday, using only an Olympia manual typewriter while based on an ex-routemaster red bus parked outside the pub.  Inspired by the locals I met each day, everyone had a story, a slice of advice, an invitation, or a fantastic accent. The people of Hebden Bridge are like no other and each day I was in residence it felt more like home and like a very 'Fair Place to Live'.
