If I ever knew you was conceived in the Autumn of 2022 during a residency in Florence at Il Palmerino and completed in the late Winter of 2023 in California at In Cahoots residency. A mokuhanga reduction print carved on shina plywood, printed on a quarter sheet of kozo washi with watercolour and printed gampi chine collé additions, 7 passes of colour, 2 blocks, 36 cm x 29 cm, edition of 6 with 1 AP.
If I ever knew you was presented by the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers at The London Original Print Fair, Somerset House, London and at RE Original Print show at Bankside Gallery, London in 2023. This print was acquired by The University of Alabama in 2023.
