In Cahoots, Artist’s Residency, Petaluma, California, February 2023
I spent the first two weeks of February in Petaluma, California as artist in residence at In Cahoots, a specialist Printmaking, Book Arts and Writing residency, as the lucky recipient of a scholarship residency grant.
One hour north of San Francisco, In Cahoots is a rural residency located amongst lush farmland and only minutes from the Pacific Coast. I spent long light filled days working on several projects, with precious research and development time spent on the [ Carriage Return ] project in collaboration with Hilary Judd in Manchester. We planned and developed projects for the coming year along with funding bids, new drawings, sculptures and interactive works. We are extremely grateful to Macy at In Cahoots for her invaluable time, energy and enthusiasm in support of the project.
