Moon Pool
Mokuhanga print carved on shina plywood, printed on a half sheet of kozo washi with watercolour, sumi ink with a printed gampi chine colle addition, 9 passes of colour, 1 block, 63 cm x 48cm, edition of 6 with 3 x AP’s.
After spending long warm evenings in the Dolomite mountains in the summer of 2022, I created this print in memory of a midnight swim under the illumination of the full moon.
Moon Pool was acquired by the University of Alabama in 2023.
