These prints were first conceived in homage to Helen Frankenthaler’s Sanguine Mood five colour pochoir and silkscreen print from 1971 and her East and beyond woodcut print of 1973. Sanguine mood (after Helen) is a five colour, seven pass reduction mokuhanga print. 47 x 30 cm, in an edition of 5, 2020. Desire Lines I & II are printed in editions of 4. Sanguine mood (after Helen) and Desire Lines II are on show at the The World Between the Block and Paper International Mokuhanga Exhibition at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Manchester, Vermont, USA until March 27th 2022.
