I offer a special 4 day one-to-one workshop in the complex technique of crafting a hanging scroll, from my Northumberland studio. The process includes paper mounting a prints or drawing of your own, and various fabrics with fine washi and nori paste, constructing and adhering multiple panels of fabric/washi, sculpting dowels with woodworking chisels, all to create a hanging scroll in the Japanese tradition.
The price includes all materials to make one hanging scroll and home-cooked vegetarian lunches.
